Covid

During the unprecedented COVID Pandemic, we worked closely with numerous NHS Trusts, contractors and private hospitals to support their needs throughout the crisis. Our staff worked seven days a week during this challenging time to provide all the help we could to support the NHS.

We were tasked with carrying out emergency installations to provide additional capacity to support the fight against COVID. This could be either minor installations of additional medical gas terminal units, providing new plant or manifold equipment or major upgrading of medical oxygen VIEs.

We also carried out design assessments and flow rate stress tests on existing Piped Medical Gas systems to ascertain the system capacity for either specific areas or complete hospital sites. This involved working closely with the Trusts’ medical oxygen suppliers such as BOC and Air Products.
